Please suggest me the recipe to make Chicken tawa fry at home.

How can I make Dhaba style chicken Tawa fry at home? In restaurants, it gives you lip-smacking taste but how can I make it in the same way at home to quest the hunger of my family.

Hello Jassi!

Chicken Tawa fry is generally cooked on large size Tawas (griddle). If you don’t have, a frying pan can be used.

To make chicken Tawa fry, boneless chicken cubes are cooked with tomato, onion, ginger garlic paste, and all the other spices (red chili powder, garam masala, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, pepper, bay leaf) that usually add to make chicken. It goes best as a side dish or can serve with naan, laccha paratha, or chapatti.

To make chicken Tawa fry:-

Heat up Tawa (griddle).

Add some oil to a Tawa. Put chopped onion, sauté. Add ginger-garlic paste. Saute till it turns brown.  Add tomatoes. Mix well. Now add all the spices- red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala and cook for a few minutes.

Add chicken and mix well with the masala. Cook for 15-20 minutes.

Serve it hot.
