My 2 years toddler is very much fond of consuming salt. All he does is, just go to the kitchen, open the jar, and full all his mouth with salt. Is it okay for a toddler to consume salt? How much salt is all needed in a kid's diet?
Hi Roohi!
Babies only need a very small amount of salt. Their kidneys are too immature to cope up with a high intake of salt Eat 3g/day of salt to your toddler's diet.
