What are the precautions you should use when your child is working with you in a kitchen

My child loves to learn cooking and always insists to help me in the kitchen. But I am afraid because of the firework in the kitchen. Can you help me with some precautions that I can use when a child works with me in the kitchen.

Hello Deepti!

Do take care of a few things when you are working with your kid in the kitchen. 

  • Keep an eye on your child when he is using sharp or electrical objects.
  • Teach him to keep the handles of hot pans away from him.
  • Tell him how to cook safely in oil. Add food slowly in to the pan so the oil does not not splash.

Slowly and slowly your kids will discover new things with you and also learn precautions from his past experiences.
