I never used bronze cookware but have heard a lot about the benefits of using bronze(kansa). Can we leave the food in bronze cookware after cooking or should be changed immediately to another pan.

Hello Tabasum!

  • Copper reduces inflammation and improves hemoglobin. So it's good to use bronze vessels.
  • The water stored in Kansa doesn’t become stale. It prevents diarrhea, jaundice, etc.
  • It is the key component of the production of melanin. Melanin is powerful in restoring healthy skin and slow down aging.

So, there are lots of health benefits if you use a bronze wok to roast chana or peanuts or use bronze water bottles.

Note: Do not use ghee in bronze metal.
