I just want to ask when we do pit cooking at home, can we smoke or grill fish and meat together or not? or the taste become weird if we cook together

Hello Komal!

You can cook both together but make sure to maintain the temperature. The temperature should be between 92degree to 200 degrees.

Meat can be cooked at high temperatures but for fish, it should be cooked at low temperatures.

I prefer to cook separately because the high and low temperature may affect the taste of both dishes.

While smoking fish and meat together may seem like a tempting idea, it's not recommended. Fish and meat have different cooking times and temperatures, and smoking them together can lead to food safety issues.

Fish generally requires a lower temperature and shorter cooking time than meat to be safe to eat, so combining the two can result in undercooked or overcooked food. Additionally, the flavors of the two may not complement each other well.

It's best to smoke fish and meat separately to ensure that each is cooked properly and has its own distinct flavor. For tips on how to smoke your favorite foods, check out cookinggrid.com, which offers a wealth of information on smoking techniques and recipes.
