I am sure you will like this starter snacks recipe. I have used cabbage and carrot (optional) as the key ingredients for this recipe. Veg Manchurian is prepared in two varieties. i.e. veg Manchurian dry and Manchurian gravy. The recipe for both versions of veg Manchurian will remain same. This recipe in for dry veg Manchurian but if you want to make veg Manchurian with gravy, just add 1 more cup of water at the last step and you will get the gravy veg Manchurian.

Step 1 – Prepare the Manchurian Balls For Veg Manchurian Recipe

So are you ready with all the ingredients for making this famous Indian street food i.e. Veg Manchurian? Then let’s get started and make the Veg Manchurian balls first. Follow these recipe instructions below to make the Veg Manchurian balls for this one of the most common and most loved Indian street food snacks recipe.

Step 2 – Deep Fry the Manchurian Balls

So we have all the Manchurian balls ready, let’s fry them. Follow these simple recipe instructions to fry veg Manchurian balls.

Step 3 – Let’s Make Sauce for Veg Manchurian Recipe

Time needed: 1 hour.

So we have the veg Manchurian balls ready; now this is the time to make Sauces for our tasty snacks recipe. Follow these simple recipe instructions to make our yummy Indian street food, the veg Manchurian. There are two varieties you can make the Veg Manchurian in; one is Dry Manchurian and other is Gravy Manchurian. The process of making both the Manchurians is same except the last step that we will see later in the recipe instructions.

  1. To make sauce for Veg Manchurian, heat 1 TBsp Oil in a skillet.

  2. When the Oil is hot, add 6 to 8 sliced Garlic cloves. Fry the Garlic cloves for about 2 minutes at high flame.

  3. Then add 1 Nos thinly chopped Onion and stir fry for 1 more minute.

  4. Then add 4 to 5 Nos thinly chopped Green Chillies (Hari Mirch), 1 Nos thinly chopped Green Capsicum (Hari Shimla Mirch) and 4 Tsp chopped Spring Onions. Stir fry for a minute. Do not overcook, let the Capsicum remain crunchy.

  5. Now switch the gas flame to medium-low and then add 1 Tsp Schezwan Sauce, 1 Tsp Red Chilli Sauce, ½ Tsp Green Chilli Sauce, ½ Tsp Soya Sauce, 1 Tsp White Vinegar (Safed Sirka), 4 Tsp Tomato Sauce and ½ Tsp Salt.

  6. Mix well and cook for 1 to 2 minutes at medium flame.

  7. Then add 1 cup Corn Flour water. Mix well and stir cook for 1 Minute at medium flame.

    NOTE – Dissolve 2 Tsp Corn Flour in 1 Cup of water to make the Corn Flour Water)

  8. Then add the fried Veg Manchurian balls. Gently mix well so that the sauces should be well coated on Manchurian balls.

  9. Well this is the time to decide whether you want to make Veg Manchurian Dry or Veg Manchurian with Gravy.

    Till now the process of making both the Manchurians is same. Now if you wanted to make dry veg Manchurian, you already got it. Your dry veg Manchurian is ready.

    But if you want to make Gravy Veg Manchurian, then just add 1 cup of water and stir cook for 1 minute at high flame. That’s it, your gravy Meg Manchurian is ready.
