Green Peas (Hari Matar)
500 Gm (Grams)
Paneer
400 Gm (Grams)
Cut into cubes
Vegetable Oil
3 TBsp (Tablespoons)
Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1 Tsp (Teaspoons)
Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch Powder)
1 Tsp (Teaspoons)
Coriander Powder (Dhania Powder)
1 Tsp (Teaspoons)
Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder)
1/2 Tsp (Teaspoons)
Salt (Namak)
1 Tsp (Teaspoons)
Garam Masala Powder
1 Tsp (Teaspoons)
Coriander Leaves

So here is how you are going to make your Indian restaurant style Mutter paneer Recipe at your home.

Step 1 – Prepare Gravy Paste

So our first step in making restaurant style Mutter Paneer will be the preparation of Gravy. Let’s follow these simple recipe instructions to prepare an awesome Gravy for our Mutter Paneer Recipe (Peas Paneer Recipe) in Indian style.

well, we have our gravy paste ready for mutter paneer recipe so lets get started and make our yummy Indian Dhaba Style or Restaurant Style Mutter Paneer. Follow these simple recipe instructions for Mutter Paneer recipe.

  1. Heat 2 TBsp Oil in a Skillet at medium flame. When Oil gets hot, add 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds and fry for a minute till the Cumin seeds start spluttering.

  2. When Cumin seeds start spluttering, add 1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder and immediately stir well.

    **NOTE – We have directly added Red Chilli Powder in hot Oil so it will give our Mutter Paneer Recipe a very nice red color. But remember, if you fry it for more than 8 to 10 seconds, the Red Chilli Powder will get burn. So make sure you do not fry the Red Chilli Powder alone in Oil for more than 10 seconds and immediately add the gravy paste that we had prepared.

  3. After adding the gravy paste, mix well.

  4. Then add 1 Tsp Coriander Powder, ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder and 1 Tsp Salt. Mix well and roast for 8 to 10 minutes until spices starts leaving Oil. Cook covered if required but keep stirring occasionally.

  5. When spices start leaving Oil, add 500 Grams Green Peas (Hari Mutter) and mix well.

  6. Add ½ cup of water if the spices are getting too thick.

  7. Roast the spices along with Green Peas (Hari Mutter) for 5 to 6 more minutes at medium flame.

  8. Then add 400 Grams Paneer cubes and gently mix well. Make sure Paneer pieces should not break.

  9. We have taken raw Paneer here in this Mutter Paneer Recipe; but you can also fry the Paneer little bit if you like fried Paneer in Mutter Paneer Recipe.

  10. Keep the gas flame high and cook for 2 minutes.

  11. Then add 1 Cup of water, mix well and cook covered at medium-low flame for 8 to 10 minutes. Keep stirring occasionally.

  12. Then add ½ Tsp Garam Masala Powder and mix well.

  13. Switch the gas flame to high and cook the Mutter Paneer at high flame just for 1 to 2 minutes.

  14. Then add ¼ Cup Coriander Leaves and mix well.

  15. If the Mutter Paneer gravy is being thick, you can add 1 cup of Water and cook for 1 minute at high flame.

  16. Your yummy restaurant style Mutter Paneer (Peas Paneer) is ready. Serve hot with Roti, Naan or Paratha.
