Rice is the staple food of Asia and will be available in almost all the home. Suggest to me the best way to store the rice for the long term.

To store the rice for the long term keep it in a tight container. If the moisture is left out, it will keep good for years.
Mold can quickly spoil the rice and turn it into green color. Mold grows in warmth, moisture, and oxygen. So when you remove these essentials it prevents rice from spoiling.
