Vermicelli (shemai) is a favorite kind of an item to make sweets with for us Bangladeshis. Shemai can be cooked in various different ways. It can be cooked in milk, fried dried in oil, made like this recipe, as noodles, etc ways. This particular recipe is a shortcut to a delicious dessert. One can serve this in parties and leave palates craving for more. This recipe can also be served in different shapes and sizes, such as triangles, squares, round, diamonds, etc. You can also decorate it with edible silver and gold paper to make it look elegant. Everyone likes to eat food that looks good to their eyes. You honestly have to try and make it at least once. Trust me, you will keep making more everyday!
Ingredients for Vermicelli Delight Recipe
  1. Condensed Milk - 1 can
  2. Ghee - 1/2 cup
  3. Different nuts(Pistachios, cashew nut, almonds) - 1/4 cup
  4. Vermicelli - one packet

Preparation Steps for Vermicelli Delight Recipe
  1. First heat the ghee in a pan.
  2. Put the packet of vermicelli in and stir fry.
  3. Pour the can of condensed milk over it and mix well.
  4. Put half of the nuts in the mixture.
  5. Now spread the vermicelli mixture in the serving dish and sprinkle the rest of the sliced nuts.
  6. Cut in your preferred shapes (squares or triangles), and serve at room temperature.
