When we serve this final dish on a special heavy metal plate, there typical sizzling sound comes and gives authentic aroma because of this, This dish is famous as “Sizzlers”. Sizzler is combination of different vegetables, sauce and rice. Vegetable can be stir friend or boiled. You can add any flavorful vegetables of your choice like: green peas, carrot, sweet corn, French beans, mushrooms, cottage cheese (paneer), and capsicum. You can also arrange French fries in sizzler. If you like non veg sizzler then you can use chicken, lamp, beef. Before serving vegetables and sauce on plate you have to heat this plate separately at last for 40 to 45 minutes. Sizzlers serving famous countries are India, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Australia. If you want to enjoy real taste of this dish then you need to serve it immediately once it prepared.

Preparation Steps for
Veg Sizzler Recipe

Clean all the vegetables with cold water. So that they will maintain their freshness.

First julienne the potato, green bell pepper, red bell pepper and onion. Keep them aside.

Par=boil the potatoes.

Heat oil in a wok and sauté onions until they turn lucid or clear. Add all the vegetables, green peas, paneer, french beans and fresh coriander.

Toss these vegetables. Now add the dry spices like red chili powder, black pepper powder, salt and the tomato ketch up.

For serving, heat sizzler plate properly. Arrange one cabbage leaf on it and pour the vegetable mixture over the leaf.

Heat the plate it till you can hear sizzling sound and add a spoon of butter just before serving to avoid cabbage leaf to burn.

Additional Tips:
- If you want to enjoy real taste of sizzler then you should serve it immediately.
- You can also make this dish innovative in your own way by using different vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli and baby corn.
- You have to pre heat sizzler plate till minimum 40 to 45 minutes.

@ M S Rao- Before assemble the food in sizzeler plate you have to heat it minimum 45 minute or so, after than arrange one cabbage leave on the plate and immediatelly sprinkle water or butter within the cabb

How the sizzler sauce is prepared. I have seen in Hotels they literally lite fire and u get blue flames & sizzling sound. some kind of spirit like liquid is used.. How this is done..?
