Bharwaan machchhi or stuffed fish is a Bengali recipe. It is also very famous in South-Indian. Fish and rice are staple food of East-India. Fish has a wealth of proteins which are the building blocks and most required and essential nutrients of human body; they also contains omega-3, calcium and vitamins and is beneficial for eyes, bones, hair, skin and immune system. It is untiring and interesting to make. Its filling contains rice flour, mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, green chillies, cumin seeds and salt. It is quite a quick recipe as compared to all other 'fish-recipes'. It is a very high-energy providing dish. We have here used pomfret fish which is most available fish in India; but you can try this recipe with other fishes also. You can serve it with rice or naan or parantha.
