It is said to be a menu that is good for the heart. Typically, Spicy Chili Vegetable Pakora is a Pakistani finger food and even loved by some Asian and European countries. This food is served hot to really appreciate the taste of the food. Because the primary ingredient of the recipe is cauliflower it is very rich in fiber and essential for the health of your heart and good for your eyes, too. Best serve right after cooking to experience the crispy taste.
Ingredients for Spicy Gobi (Cauliflower) Pyaz (Onion) Pakora Recipe
  1. Chick Pea flour - 75 grams
  2. Ground Coriander - 1/2 tsp
  3. Iodized Salt - 1 tsp
  4. Ground Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  5. Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  7. Garlic - 2 cloves
  8. Water - 1 cup
  9. Oil - For frying
  10. Cauliflower - 1/2 cup sliced
  11. Onion rings - 1 pcs

Preparation Steps for Spicy Gobi (Cauliflower) Pyaz (Onion) Pakora Recipe
  1. Take a medium bowl and add the chickpea flour. Thoroughly mix the ground coriander. Now add the iodized salt, turmeric, powdered chili, garam masala and crushed garlic.
  2. Slowly form a well in the center of the flour. Pour the water into the well gradually and mix well to form a thick, smooth batter afterwards.
  3. Take a large saucepan, and place it over a medium high heat. Add oil to heat it to around 190 degrees centigrade.
  4. Take the cauliflower along with onion and coat them with batter. Fry the coated cauliflower along with onion into small batches until the cauliflower and onion becomes brown. Frying time is approximately 4 – 5 minutes.
  5. When the pakoras are brown, take them out of oil and drain on kitchen roll. When the oil is drained out of pakoras, your spicy cauliflower and onion pakoras are ready to be served hot with tea or coffee.
  6. You can also sprinkle little chat masala to give it more chatpata taste.
 

Additional Tips:

1. Use good quality flour.
2. Consistency of the mixture must be medium neither liquid nor solid.
