  1. Apples - 8
  2. Walnuts - 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar - 1 cup
  4. Vanilla extract - 1 tbsp
  5. Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  6. Butter - 1/2 cup
  7. Water - 4 tbsp

Preparation Steps for Roasted Apples with Walnuts Recipe
  1. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add walnuts, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Mix to combine well.
  2. Wash the apples under running water and peel. Using a sharp knife, hollow each apple.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment and preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
  4. Stuff each apple with the butter mixture and place over the lined baking sheet.
  5. Pour 4 tbsp water and bake for about 35 minutes or until apples are soft and golden brown on top.
  6. Take out of the oven, transfer on a serving platter and leave to cool.
 
It is recommended to serve cold. You can also serve with vanilla syrup made of 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup water and 1 tsp vanilla extract. This Roasted Apples with Walnuts Recipe can also be prepared with pears and queens.
