The people of this sub-continent have a favorite salad, which is undoubtedly Raita. Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, Indians, name whichever race, all of them love their Raita. There are many different types of Raitas. There are the Bundia Raita, simple Raita, Pudina Raita, etc. Raitas are salads. They can be eaten alongside everymeal. I complements naan, specially. But it also goes great with rice, parata and polao. Tandoori chicken, naan and raita is a classic combination. All Indian restaurants are bound to serve Raita. Some even serve it free of cost. Raitas are usually served cold. The older members of the family tend to like it more than the younger ones, however as these children grow up and their taste buds bloom, even they fall victim to Raita's delicious flavors.
