Preparation Steps for
Onion Ring Recipe

Peel the onion, cut into slices horizontally into 1/4 inch thick pieces and separated into rings.

Soak these onion rings into the buttermilk for about 30 minutes.

In a bowl, take the gram flour, salt, pepper and baking powder and mix well. Keep this batter in a a plate.

Now heat the oil in a kadai over medium flame. When the oil is hot, take few onion rings at a time from the buttermilk, dip it in the batter so that the onion rings are well coated with the batter.

Put these batter coated onion rings into the oil and fry it.

When fried, take the out and drain the excess oil. Your crispy onion rings are ready, serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
