Being tired of hot summer and looking to eat something chilled? Falooda is a perfect summer desert for you then. Falooda is prepared by mixing rose water, sabza and falooda along with either milk or water. I am sure you will fall in love with this chilled falooda. Give it a try at home and see how easy is to prepare falooda at home.
Ingredients for Falooda
  1. Milk - 3 cup
  2. Sugar - 3 tsp
  3. Vanilla ice cream - 4 scoop
  4. Strawberry ice cream - 4 scoop
  5. Falooda,soaked (Chinese noodles) - 8 tbsp
  6. Subza soaked (tapioca) - 1 tablespoon
  7. Rooh afza or Rose syrup - 2 tablespoon
  8. Cashewnuts,chopped - 10

Preparation Steps for Falooda
  1. Soak the sabza in water for at least an hour.
  2. Heat the milk with sugar and bring to a boil. Set aside to cool. Put in a refrigerator to chill for 1-2 hours.
  3. Boil the noodles in water about 1- 2 minutes Drain the water, and boil the noodles in a little milk for about 6 minutes on a low flame.
  4. Take the noodles out of heat and add enough ice to the pot and keep aside for 5 minutes so that noodles should get cool. Stir occasionally so that noodles get cool from all around.
  5. Take 4 glasses, put half a tablespoon of rose syrup in glasses. Pour the milk in to each glass.
  6. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, add little sabza, add noodles and milk.
  7. Put in a strawberry ice cream scoop, top with chopped cashew nuts and serve chilled.
