Chicken noodle casserole recipe, a popular American dish! It’s creamy! It’s yummy! Creamy chicken and noodle casserole are topped with crushed crackers and Parmesan cheese. Ingredients for Chicken Noodle Casserole Recipe
  1. Chicken breasts halves - 4 nos, skinless, boneless
  2. Egg noodles - 6 ounces
  3. Condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 can (10.75 ounce)
  4. Condensed cream of mushroom soup - 1 can (10.75 ounces)
  5. Sour cream - 1 cup
  6. Green Peas - 1/2 cup
  7. Butter - ½ cup
  8. Crumbled buttery round crackers - 1 cup
  9. Parmesan cheese - 1/3 cup, grated
  10. Ground black pepper - a little pinch or to taste
  11. Salt - to taste

Preparation Steps for Chicken Noodle Casserole Recipe
  1. Cook the chicken breasts halves and green peas in a large pot of simmering water. Cook the chicken for 10 to 15 minutes until chicken is no longer pink in center. When cooked, take the chicken pieces out of pot and keep aside.
  2. Bring the same leftover chicken cooking water to a boil. When boiling, add pasta (egg noodles) and cook it. When cooked, drain the pasta and keep aside.
  3. Cut chicken into very small pieces, and mix it with cooked noodles.
  4. Now, in a separate bowl, add mushroom soup, chicken soup, and sour cream. Mix well. Season the mixed creams with salt and pepper. Mix properly.
  5. Now, mix the cream soup mixture, chicken=noodle mixture and half of grated Parmesan cheese and stir together gently.
  6. Place the above mixture in a 2 quart baking dish.
  7. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and remove from heat. Stir in crumbled crackers in the melted butter.
  8. Top casserole with these buttery crackers and remaining grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Preheat oven at 350 F. Bake the chicken noodle casserole at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 30 minutes, until heated through and the top is browned.
  10. You creamy chicken noodle casserole is ready, serve hot.
