Preparation Steps for
Cajun Deviled Eggs Recipe
|
-
To boil the eggs, place eggs in a deep pan fill with water. Keep the eggs covered with water up to 1 inch.
-
Bring the water to boil. When water starts boiling, take the pan out from heat and let the eggs remained in same hot water. Keep it covered for 10 to 12 minutes.
-
Now, remove the eggs from hot water and immediately place them in cold water. This will make it easy to peel the eggs. When cool, peel the eggs carefully.
-
Now slice the eggs in half lengthwise with a sharp knife.
-
Carefully remove yolks from the eggs and place the yolks in a medium sized bowl. Keep the egg white aside.
-
Mash up the yolk with a fork and mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt and black pepper to the egg yolks. Mix properly.
-
Now fill the hollowed egg white halves with this yolk mixture.
-
Sprinkle with red pepper powder (degi mirch powder) as to the taste. Cover eggs and put in refrigerator until serving.
-
Your Cajun deviled eggs are ready. Serve chilled with tea, cold drink or coffee.
