8 nos, sliced

Chilly powder

4 tsp
-
Oil
-
for frying
-
Salt
-
3 tsp or to taste

Preparation Steps for
Baingan Fry (Brinjal Fry) Recipe
|
-
Sprinkle the brinjal slices with chilly powder and salt. Marinate these for 20 minutes.
-
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan.
-
When oil is hot, fry the marinated brinjals.
-
When fried, take the fried brinjals out in a plate.
-
Remove excess of oil from fried brinjals and serve hot.

I never eat brinjals unless it's fried like this....the chilly powder here can be replaced with mangalorean "Bafath powder which gives a yummy aroma n flavor....
