A healthier lifestyle corresponds with low fat dishes. The essence of low fat recipes is to cut out the bad fats i.e. saturated fats and cholesterol which increases the cholesterol in blood and heart problems too. Eating a healthy low fat recipe does not mean you have to compromise on flavor and taste. Rather, it is changing your preferred meals with a little perspective, replacing fat (butter or oil) with non stick cooking spray or olive oil. Bake, steam or grilling and other slow-cooking methods can be used instead of frying them. If sautéing the meals, then the use of oil should be minimum and substituting with broths. Fat free or low fat dairy products, sour cream and yogurt can be used where ever possible. Using extra lean meat in making meat balls is a good choice. Low fat recipes help in weight loss too as it contain less calories and fats.
